After an incredible 2019 season where he secured his first ever podium finish and challenged for race wins on his way to finishing seventh overall in the 2019 MX2 World Championship, 19-year-old Frenchman Maxime Renaux will remain with the SM Action M.C. Migliori team for a third consecutive season.
SM Action M.C. Migliori Yamaha Supported MXGP rider
"I'm grateful for the opportunity to enter the MXGP class with the support of Yamaha Motor Europe, it is an honour. There is no doubt that they will give me the best possible material to achieve my goals and build a future in MXGP. I have already met the people from the SM Action M.C. Migliori team as well and they directly welcomed me with open arms. I like the family atmosphere in the team, this is what I need on race weekends. I will be based in Germany, close to the Dutch boarder, living with my agent and trainer Christoph Selent, who will work closely together with Gareth Swanepoel from the US. Everything seems to be falling into place for next season and I am looking forward to work with such great people and make this opportunity count."
